Originally from Cadillac, Michigan, Luke Winslow-King is a career rock & roll guitarist, singer, producer, and songwriter. Having spent more than 15 years in New Orleans, and recording his 2008 album (Old/New Baby) at Preservation Hall, he was named ‘Best Blues Artist’ by Gambit Magazine in 2016. His 2018 hit, 'I'm Glad Trouble Don't Last Always' has 10 million streams on Spotify and charted in Billboard top 10 blues albums. He was named a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy in 2022, and is now living in Calatayud, Spain. Luke Winslow-King continues to pursue his global quest; delivering honest, powerful, rustic, and authentic roots music by stage and recording alike.

Winslow-King’s eighth full-length album Flash-A-Magic is slated for release in May of 2024.

It features: Rev. Charles Hodges (Al Green), Roberto Luti (Playing For Change), and Fat Possum recording artists, The Sensational Barnes Brothers.

by Glide Magazine, and received 4.6 million streams in its first year.

His original song ‘Everlasting Arms’ was performed by Dr. John in the Playing for Change ‘Songs Around the World’ series on YouTube received nearly 4 million plays. He’s performed on television programs such as: Anderson Cooper Live (CNN), NCIS New Orleans (CBS), Deadliest Catch (Discovery), Hairy Bikers (BBC), and composed original music for Netflix, and CBS.
